The art of direction is the heart of any media, entertainment, and film industry. a director is responsible for overseeing each aspect of the live set. Direction is a collaboration of various skills jointly to communicate ideas effectively. The director needs to extract and cast the best of actors, editors, cinematographers, editors, performing arts crew, sound recordists, etc besides placing one’s very own talent into the mixture of production.

The program module covers the logistic responsibilities of the department, captivating storytelling with proper technical finish in each production, types of shoots and picturization, visualization to execution, storyboarding & ground play, and working with actors and props & crew members. A director has a whole lot to cover under his belt. Students will learn from award-winning directors who are a part of the faculty at Next Generation Media.

Next Generation Media is the authorized partner of Media & Entertainment Skill Council (MESC) which is promoted by FICCI & NSDC for setting standards while training and accreditation falls under (PMKVY) scheme of government of India. This is beneficial since MESC has a mandate to create a skilled workforce of 11.4 lakhs by 2024.
